Susie Barrett
Like most, I wear many hats. I am an artist, mother, daughter, friend, lover, bookworm, beach bum, gym rat, spiritual seeker and child of God. I've come to realize as I get older, life is about living one's passion. I have always loved painting and visiting Hawaii several times in 2013 and 2014 changed my life. I was entranced by the colors of the islands, so vibrant I found them hard to describe. But I could feel them, so I started painting. My first series consisted of works created in what I call a tropical, stained-glass style. I have since branched out with other abstract series and find great joy in transmuting paint and ink into original works of art. My pieces are bright and happy. I hope they bring you joy.
